LG 10,000 BTU Air Conditioner with Remote Control is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 138.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from All There I bought this unit about 2 weeks ago. It is "all there," in that it has some weight to it. I had to have someone install it as the window in my condo is old and a bit tricky. It is quite quiet on low fan and cools wonderfully. 10K BTU is perfect for easily cooling a bedroom and more. Very pleased with the performance of this unit. Humidity is no longer a problem for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Cooling This unit has been installed for about a month. Temperatures have been 100+since installing. This unit keeps the living room area quite comfortable. The installation instructions were clear. My son and I got it installed in an afternoon. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Quiet It is so quiet, I can actually hear the TV now, without blaring it. I'm so pleased with this LG air conditioner, I won't try another brand again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fully satisfied Cools great. Very quiet and doesn’t generate a lot of water discharge like previous AC units that I’ve had. Very happy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Should the vent be open or closed

Asked by: Mav49
We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner. Whether or not the vent is open will be a personal preference, during operations. Please keep in mind, however, that having the vent open can allow entrance of some humidity.

I've had the ac for about 2 months. The first month it seemed to cool very nicely. Today, however, I noticed it's not cooking the same. It's at the coldest setting & it still doesn't seem to be cooling. Should I get it checked?

Asked by: Taly
Check the filter. It needs to be cleaned monthly.

Unit turns on but compressor doesn't when in the cool mode

Asked by: Dak2

I moved into a house with LG WINDOW units. One of the mode settings says 'dry'. What does that setting do?

Asked by: Nanaplus3
Dry mode is used to remove humidity from the room without additional cooling. Once the set temperature is reached, the compressor and circulation fan turns off. Fan speed is pre-set and cannot be adjusted.
