- A: According to the RedStone Infrared Cabinet Heater Owner's Manual, you must keep combustible materials (such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes, and curtains) at least 3 feet (36 inches) away from the front of the heater. While it is compact enough to tuck neatly along a wall, the manual specifies that you must also keep those same combustible items completely clear of the sides, top, and rear of the unit. To maintain optimal performance, prevent overheating, and ensure the intake and exhaust vents are never blocked, it is highly recommended to leave at least 6 to 12 inches of open air clearance between the back/sides of the cabinet and any solid wall.4 days agoHelpful?

- A: The heater itself does not have a reset button, however it does have a reset button for the thermal protector. When the internal temperature of the unit exceeds 110°C (230°F), the thermal protector will cut off the power to prevent the machine from operating and causing a potential fire hazard. After allowing the internal temperature to cool down for 10 to 30 minutes (depending on the situation), you need to open the rear panel and manually reset the thermostat. Only then can the heater resume operation; otherwise, the main switch on the back will light up but the unit will not work.6 months agoHelpful?

- A: Yes. There are TWO Timer settings that BOTH have to be set to double zero "00". Plug it in. Leave the power OFF. Push the Timer button until it shows double zero "00". Leave it setting there until it stops flashing at double zero "00". Now turn the power ON. Push the Timer button until it shows double zero "00" again. Should be a zero stars. This was a foul smelling absolute piece of garbage. I purchased the two year warranty. That was also a piece of garbage. Tractor Supply's remedy to my situation was for me to drive over 4 hours one way to pick up a replacement heater. They refused to ship a replacement heater to me. Run far, far away from Tractor Supply and their garbage products.
