- A: The heater itself does not have a reset button, however it does have a reset button for the thermal protector. When the internal temperature of the unit exceeds 110°C (230°F), the thermal protector will cut off the power to prevent the machine from operating and causing a potential fire hazard. After allowing the internal temperature to cool down for 10 to 30 minutes (depending on the situation), you need to open the rear panel and manually reset the thermostat. Only then can the heater resume operation; otherwise, the main switch on the back will light up but the unit will not work.2 months agoHelpful?

- A: Yes. There are TWO Timer settings that BOTH have to be set to double zero "00". Plug it in. Leave the power OFF. Push the Timer button until it shows double zero "00". Leave it setting there until it stops flashing at double zero "00". Now turn the power ON. Push the Timer button until it shows double zero "00" again. emergency & supplemental heat

This unit managed to keep my house comfortable when my furnace failed this fall. It will defiantly be able to heat a area on a cold day if necessary as supplemental heat. I will use it in the garage when working this winter.

Red Stone inferred heater.

It needs to be reworked I tried to purchase them two times and they’re all junk,. After pressing the power button in the rear. I pressed the power button on the front. The unit powered up like normal for about one minute then it started to beeping and all of the modes started charging. Sometimes it would be stable. The remote wouldn’t turn the unit off or on. I had to turn unit off by pressing the rear button just to shut it off, plus unplug it. I wasn’t sure if it would burn my house down... Sorry: not a good buy... maybe next time it will be a good buy.... Thanks have a nice day.
