Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised I am new to using pellet stove and was unsure of what purchase these pellets so far for the first month of use have worked flawlessly I clean my stove out of Ash about once every 10 days running it and that's when it's set on an average of 3 out of 5 for how much it burns

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent quality for the price A lot of clinkers and a lot of ash compared to other pellet brands I’ve used. I buy by the ton and also found some cockroaches inside the bag that seals the product. Not TSC fault but just check out your product before bringing into your house.

which is better...'hard' wood or 'soft' wood for my pellet stove ?

Asked by: awww
Traditionally, hardwood has been the preferred fuel in wood stoves and fireplaces because it naturally has a lower moisture content, is a denser fuel, burns longer, and has hotter coals. Softwood is known for burning hotter initially, easy to light, having more pitch or sap, more sparks and sound as it burns, but burns up more quickly. However, the pelletizing process takes away many of these differences, so it would be up to your preference.
