Nice safe I bought in in November 2025, however the key pad is junk it stopped working, thought it was the battery and replaced it only.to find the keypad stopped working and have left messages with Winchester and no one seems to want to return my call, so at this point I would advise anyone to stay away from Winchester!, update Winchester finally got back to me and resolved the problem, you can only use a Duracell alkaline ot ever ready max alkaline battery in the safe, the fix was easy and I advised Winchester that was not in the owners manual but they did have it on the recorded line when I called.

The electronic lock routinely fails and must have the battery removed to reset. I have had the keypad fully replaced once (which was at my own expense, Winchester provided the lock but refused to pay for the locksmithing service) and it still has the same faults. Do not trust this safe.

The Keypad lasted three years and then you have to remove part of the door to replace it. Only way to access the safe is with a key. Winchester should do a recall. Looks like everyone out there is having the same problem

Very roomy. Not sure about it holding 36 long guns, but does have quite a bit of room.
