I like this pelletized bedding for use in chicken coops/runs as well as outdoors to soak up excess water, preventing mud from accumulating. The odor is pleasant and dust seems to be minimal. The pellets are NOT soft and remind me of broken crayons. However, the bag often rips and leaks pellets prior to use/purchase, and also soaks up environmental water leading to broken-down pellets inside the bag. It also does not break down consistently, leading to balled-up pieces in my animals' feet. Both factors could be better for this product, but the price is fair.
No, I do not recommend this product.
