Depends on the cat’a preference but the natural odor of the pellets is basically non existent, and it somehow blocks a lot of odor from my cat’s waste which is nice. It needs more scooping than clay or about the same. I my cat is picky so I scoop more with this product than I do with clay but there’s no tracking like clay does so that’s very nice for where my box is placed.

Excellent bedding. We don't have horses anymore, but we do have a young ferret. We didn't want to use shavings or kitty litter because they can both be respiratory irritants. The pellets make cleanup easy, and keep the smells to a minimum.
