Heater works beautifully in my 20x26 garage with 9ft walls. Warms it up in a hurry and keeps it where i set it. Tractor Supply was fast shipping to my door. Install was quick and easy even by myself. Only thing i dislike is the manual for the unit. You can use a remote located thermostat however the manual says you need a 10,000w rated line voltage stat and you cant find one. But if you look at the location you land the stat wires it looks like its 24v output so any simple 2 wire may be what is needed. The manual doesnt offer optional accessories or direction on a remote thermostat. Otherwise i recommend this unit thus far.

So far so good. I have a 750 sq ft garage...fully insulated...in SE Idaho (cold!) and this thing does a great job. The only thing I had to do was modify the temp sensor (see YouTube) to a new location to allow an accurate garage temp. The wiring required is #6 or larger...depending on distance of run, so be prepared for that. But so worth it! Very simple and easy. Couldn't be happier.

Installed this 10000 watt heater during the winter in Wyoming, in a 30x40 metal pole barn shop with 14' ceilings, and only walls are insulated currently. I use this space as a woodshop and welding shop in a separate small part of it. This guy works as it should. For this size shop, it is adequate, which is what I was looking for without having to go to the next size up (15000 watt). I do not need to be super warm in the shop. Within an hour, the shop is comfortable to work in with proper attire, even in freezing temps outside. The remote works great, the heater kicks in with no issue to the last used setting, and has worked as expected (knock on wood). I have it installed in a corner about 8' above the ground. It heats up the shop enough to work comfortably. If I need to get toasty, I can stand about 15-20' away from it and feel the heat directly. The built-in thermostat is probably accurate for the temp at the heater itself. I have a thermometer in the shop and it reads different than the built-in thermostat as it is further away, so I just set the heat in the unit higher. I believe there are accommodations to install an external thermostat, but I did not do that. Please consult with an electrician for the proper size breaker and wiring for this unit.

Good heater runs non stop is the only down fall but that’s the only issue.
