Q: Is it safe to use indoors???
5 months ago- A: No, the Master Propane Forced Air Torpedo Heater, 3,125 sq. ft., 125,000 BTU is rated for outdoor use only. It should never be used in a residential or completely enclosed indoor space due to the significant risk of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning and oxygen depletion.4 months agoHelpful?
Q: can you use a 20 pound tank with this heater?
5 months ago- A: While some general product descriptions indicate a 20-pound tank can be used, the manufacturer's recommendation for the Master Propane Forced Air Torpedo Heater, 3,125 sq. ft., 125,000 BTU is a minimum of a 40-pound or 100-pound propane tank to ensure proper operation. The issue with using a smaller 20-pound tank is primarily related to the rate of propane vaporization. A 125,000 BTU heater has a high fuel demand (around 5.1 lbs/hr), and a 20-pound tank may not have enough surface area to produce vapor quickly enough, especially in colder temperatures. This can lead to the tank freezing up or the heater not running at its full capacity. For optimal performance and run time, using the recommended 40-pound or 100-pound tank is best.5 months agoHelpful?
