This patented radiant 4,000-18,000 BTU liquid propane heater connects directly to two 1 lb. cylinders and is the perfect solution for heating up to 450 Sq. Ft. An integrated fan increases the heating capacity of this unit, blending radiant and convection style heat to give you the best of both worlds. Two swivel regulators give you the ability to adapt usage from disposable cylinders to a remote gas supply with the purchase of a single hose and filter. To light the unit, simply push and rotate the knob. The built in Piezo sparking mechanism will take care of the rest. With the oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) and accidental tip-over safety shut-off, you can be sure that you will enjoy years of comfortable outdoor safe heat.

This heater works very well. It gives me plenty of heat on the lowest setting and really cranks out the heat on the highest setting.

Used for 4 months then it sat over summer in the house. In the fall it would not start. Followed all instructions on cleaning it from manufactures website. Did not help. Due to using 20lb tank with heater and not having a filter between tank and heater manufacture will not warrenty it. I have older 1 panel heater from different manufacture that I have used for 20 years and it still works as good as the day i
purchased it with not filter required. I haven't used a filter ever on any propane connected device and haven't had an issue. So Mr heater sells you a heater with no filter so that if something happens to it and you didn't get a filter for it they can deny warrenty coverage.
Sadly I didn't bother looking this up before purchasing as it is really common with these. Shame on me for not doing the research. However shame on mr heater as a company. Totally unacceptable behavior. I will not be purchasing any of their products going forward and will actively recommend people avoid them

Nice Portable Heater left door broken

Received heater found piece of plastic from corner of left door bottom hinge on floor when pulled from box. Placed corner and door in place closed and in couple of sessions was able to glue pieces together.

Mr. Buddy Big Buddy heater

The Mr. Buddy Big Buddy propane heater is an excellent source of backup heat. I use my heater in my shop which is not insulated and not otherwise heated. I’ve purchased an adapter hose and filter so I can operate my heater on a 25 lb propane bottle allowing me to run on the big tank or the small bottles. The heater has three heat settings, 4000, 9000 and 18000 but’s. It also has an installed fan that uses D cell batteries and the pilot uses a AA battery. All in all a great heater.

loud explosion pop and flames

i was going thru the second set of propane cans, after having it on on the medium, all of a sudden heard a loud pop along with flames all over the heater. we were fast enough to reach and turn it off.
