Rated 5 out of 5 by from best value I bought one of these from TS over six ago after my central unit went out. It was a little learning curve to figure out the right amount of wood and how hot/cool to keep creosote buildup minimal as I use mesquite. I have an 1200 square foot minimally insulated, single pane windows and this stove does a better job than the central unit. I have to add wood one time overnight as I don't overstuff the box. I use the creosote preventers and did not need to sweep the flue this year, amazing. When I was in one of the stores the other day, there was a unit on sale and I bought it. I don't know how much longer the old one will last, surly many more years, but have my replacement ready. Thanks TS for all of the great service and products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has everything I need in a woodstove I bouht this a month ago to replace my old one which I had used for 12 years. This one is great for me as I live in a mobile home. I love the features and the glass door to watch th fire, it makes it seem so much cozier to watch the flames. Unlike my old one this one has a ash pan that makes it easier to clean uot. Love this stove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT stove for the money! We bought this stove to heat our 1500 sq ft mobile home, and could not be more pleased with our purchase. We replaced a much older, cast iron stove and are so happy with this new stove. It is much easier to get the fire going, heats the entire house very quickly (love the adjustable speed - and quiet- blower that was included!), and best of all the burn time is great. The damper makes it easy to control how hot/fast the fire burns. We will be going through a LOT less wood this year because it is so much more efficient than our previoius stove. We had a minor issue with draft when we first installed the stove, but after adding an extra section of triple wall on the roof to extend the exterior portion of the chimney, it is working even better than we had hoped (there are great tips for trouble shooting in the instruction booklet). We highly recommend the US Stove 2000 to anyone looking for a cost effective, great wood stove!

I have a flue opening that goes into a masonery chimney. the chimney runs outside my home from my basement up past the top of the second floor of the house. Is this all I need for proper installation?

Asked by: Fred W
We recommend having the chimney lined with class A stove pipe if you are using an existing chimney. If it is lined with clay liner or is bigger than 6 inches you will have drafting issues.

Can this unit unint be install in the basement, and run ductwork to 6 rooms? Taken great advantage of the blower? My home doesn’t have duct work and the basement has a way to vent the stove

Asked by: Matador1979
This unit cannot be used with duct work. The blower is not powerful enough to pressurize duct work to heat a home.

what are the manufacturing requirement for distance away from the walls on all sides when you have a non combustible material on the walls or surrounding of the wood stove. In the manual it has all the measurements for when it is a combustible material.

Asked by: lkober1983
We suggest contacting someone in your area that deals will local codes. We don't supply that information because it all depends on which part of the country you live in.

how does the blower work and how is it rotted?

Asked by: flat top
The blower is a variable speed blower and blows the air against the back of the stove and blows it over the top of the stove.
