US Stove Pedestal Wood Stove with Blower, 2,000 sq. ft., 2000 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 409.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from U.S. wood stove I bought two of these in December. 1 in the basement, and 1 on the main floor. -10, and we were in shorts. DRY WOOD is needed. A brand name stove couldn’t make me happier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from US Stove Show arrived a great condition and was easy to install. Very easy to light with good draft

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Wood Stove! Purchased at the end of the winter season. Had a few cold nights to get some experimental use out of it though. Burns efficiently and really cranks out the heat! Durably made and a great deal for the size and accompanying 100 cfm blower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I tell my Friends this is: "The Wonder Stove" I bought this stove because I knew and trusted The Tractor Store to be honest, caring, carry good products and after checking around had the best price by far. Since installing stove and using for several months I could not be happier. I like everything about this stove and one of the best features of the Pestal wood stove is the cleaning box at bottom of the stove. Just remove cleaning plug from inside stove, scrape ashes into box and pull out box and empty. Makes no mess. Sure beats scaping out fire box and scooping out ashes.

I have a flue opening that goes into a masonery chimney. the chimney runs outside my home from my basement up past the top of the second floor of the house. Is this all I need for proper installation?

Asked by: Fred W
We recommend having the chimney lined with class A stove pipe if you are using an existing chimney. If it is lined with clay liner or is bigger than 6 inches you will have drafting issues.

Can this unit unint be install in the basement, and run ductwork to 6 rooms? Taken great advantage of the blower? My home doesn’t have duct work and the basement has a way to vent the stove

Asked by: Matador1979
This unit cannot be used with duct work. The blower is not powerful enough to pressurize duct work to heat a home.

what are the manufacturing requirement for distance away from the walls on all sides when you have a non combustible material on the walls or surrounding of the wood stove. In the manual it has all the measurements for when it is a combustible material.

Asked by: lkober1983
We suggest contacting someone in your area that deals will local codes. We don't supply that information because it all depends on which part of the country you live in.

how does the blower work and how is it rotted?

Asked by: flat top
The blower is a variable speed blower and blows the air against the back of the stove and blows it over the top of the stove.

Does this stove have a interwall and does it have heat vents in the front for the hot air to exit?

Asked by: minness11
This stove does not have an inner steel wall. The firebox is also the exterior wall so it radiates heat. the firebox is brick lined.

This must have a floor protection with a minimum R value of 1.2 which extends 16in to the front, 8in to each side, and 6in to the back.

Is this a “ air tight “ stove?

Asked by: Tc12071
This unit is designed as an airtight stove due to the gaskets around the door and the way it drafts. Thank you for your question.
