Q: Why is my new stove smoking the house out

- A: Thank you for the question. There's a few things that could be causing that. For a new stove, on a first burn the paint will need to cure, a process that can result in a smell or smoke. This only occurs when the heater is new, and should stop soon. If smoke keeps occuring, then either the chimney isn't properly sealed, isn't set up to the heater's requirements, or the unit needs an outside combustion air hookup to burn properly. Great Stove, confused by bad reviews.

This is a great Stove. I added a damper to the flew. Works like a charm. Going on 2 years. Not sure what the other reviewers are smoking (pun intended). If you don't know how to use a wood stove, just stick with a pellet stove.

Not good at all

Have had problems with the stove since started using it. Won't draw right have to leave it burning wide open to get any kind of draft. Tired of smoking up my house. And it won't even heat 700sq feet. Clean chimney clean inside top of stove works good for couple of days and right back to the way it was doing again smoking us out. Plus not keeping us warm. I've never had a stove do like this.
No, I do not recommend this product.

These are 2nd rate stoves. They rust. Mine has rust on top & it's less than 6 yrs old. No it hasn't gotten wet.
