Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Mower once you fix rear guide wheels!! Bought this item 7/26/17, and just like a few other reviewers stated, the rear guide wheels and rear of mower deck plowed when turning and backing up, but remembered one of the reviewers said to remove the wheel and spindle assemblies from the attaching arms, then remove the attaching arms and rotate them 180 degrees and reattach them to the mower deck, then reinsert the wheel and spindle assemblies back into the attaching arms , so tried it and that fixed the problems, the mower now works perfectly!! Mows almost as close and neat as a finish mower with no nicks or gouges to the ground! That is why I only gave it 4 stars, would have given it 5 if hadn't had to do all this re configuring of the guide wheels, just wonder why it isn't assembled in the factory this way, cause it sure does not work the way they ship it!! So be prepared to spend a little time and get a little dirty and do a little work and you will have a fantastic little mower!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job I bought this attachment for my kubota b2301 to clear grass and light brush and am glad I did. Easy to hook up to rear PTO, operates smoothly, easy to lube and color matches kubota orange Cons - is actually 2 blades that occasionally will cross if strikes hard surface and you have to seperate with a hammer, plastic flanges around differential make it difficult to see while connecting. Also make sure to buy and add gear oil as it comes bone dry and lube before using. All in all happy with purchase and price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works great once I made minor corrections I purchased this to use with my Kubota BX2370 to mow down heavy grass, weeds and small brush. Two issues, 1) the trailing wheels plowed all the time, I decided they had to much trailing angle and discovered the trailing arms were installed upside down. Once I removed the trailing wheel assemblies (remove the linch pin) and removed the trailing arms, turning them over 180 degrees and reinstalling them, the trailing wheel spindles were much more at 90 degrees to the ground. They now work the way they are supposed to, forward and back, no more plowing. 2) all literature claims the trailing wheels are adjustable (height), not so as delivered - a call to Tarter confirmed there is no adjustment. I think I have a simple solution to make them adjustable, still experimenting at this time though. The cutter works great in all other regards and wouldn't give a 5 star review due to Tarter's lack of concern on either of these issues.

What does the SC mean? What is the difference between this mower and the other 4ft. mower?

The SC stands for Sub-Compact. The difference is in the hook up. The SC is made with Category 0 hookups the standard has Category 1 hookups.
