In less than two years, this item is out of commission. Wasted money! Kept inside, used only -14 days total in established fields, the support brqce on the left side has cracked/broken. Metal deck breaks away underneth the rail which must allow brace to crack. I thought maybe it was just me but saw same model /brand in a dump with the same issues/same broken support at the same place on mower. Must be design feature with torque or something. No response fm TSC.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The mower performs great (using it on a Massey 253). It did a long time to assemble (“some assembly required”) but the directions are pretty good. They do leave a few things out prior to starting and it’s a big one: you’ll need either a socket or wrench in 1-5/16”! That was an additional $40 I hadn’t planned on, but if you’ve got one no problem. Also don’t forget to purchase 80W or 85W oil when you pick it up. It was in a note on the product description and there’s a sticker on the gearbox but it’s good to know it when you pick up the mower, otherwise you’ll have to go back for it. I also found a floor jack extremely useful when attaching the wheel and then rigging the steel runners from the rear to the 3 point hitch.
