This heavy-duty rotary cutter has a round back designed for mowing tight corners and a stump jumper blade pan with 3 in. heat-treated forged blades for a better cut. Built for rugged durability, this rotary cutter delivers reliable results all season long and features a powder-coat finish that protects from rust and wear and tear over time.PLEASE NOTE: Front and rear rubber guards pictured are sold separately and are available as a SPECIAL ORDER from the store

Mower works great

The mower performs great (using it on a Massey 253). It did a long time to assemble (“some assembly required”) but the directions are pretty good. They do leave a few things out prior to starting and it’s a big one: you’ll need either a socket or wrench in 1-5/16”! That was an additional $40 I hadn’t planned on, but if you’ve got one no problem. Also don’t forget to purchase 80W or 85W oil when you pick it up. It was in a note on the product description and there’s a sticker on the gearbox but it’s good to know it when you pick up the mower, otherwise you’ll have to go back for it. I also found a floor jack extremely useful when attaching the wheel and then rigging the steel runners from the rear to the 3 point hitch.

Need a reboot on assembly

Assembly is a lot harder than it needs to be. Bolts are almost impossible to loosen in tight spaces. Instructions are terrible and metal shipping supports they use look like they are part of the unit. Looks like they went out of their way to make assembly as difficult as possible. Suggest the people who designed the process try to do it themselves and see if they are proud.
