Q: Can I use on my vegetable garden and around pets?
6 days ago- AI-generatedA: You should not apply this product directly to edible plants, though it can be used as a barrier. It is safe for pets to return to treated areas once the dust has settled, but do not apply it where they can currently access it or directly on them.6 days agoHelpful?
Q: CAN THIS BE USED FOR CHICKEN DUST BATHS
7 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! Garden Safe Crawling Insect Killer cannot be used for chicken dust baths because it is a non-food-grade pesticide. Chickens naturally preen their feathers and will inevitably swallow the powder, which can lead to chemical poisoning or severe, permanent lung damage when kicked up into the air. For a safe flock setup, you should always use 100% pure, certified Food-Grade Diatomaceous Earth mixed with regular clean sand and dirt.6 days agoHelpful?
Q: Will it kill hornets & wasps?
13 days ago- AI-generatedA: Yes, this product can be used to kill ground wasps. Reviewers have noted success by applying the powder directly into the holes where the wasps emerge.13 days agoHelpful?
Q: safe for use in outdoor dog enclosure around dogs ?
15 days ago- A: Yes, Garden Safe 4 lb. Crawling Insect Killer is generally pet-safe to use around dogs, but it is not recommended for use directly inside an active outdoor dog enclosure because the fine powder poses a severe respiratory hazard when kicked up into the air.14 days agoHelpful?
Q: Can it be put on plant leafs
17 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! Yes, you can safely put Garden Safe Diatomaceous Earth directly onto plant leaves to stop crawling pests, but you should only apply it when the foliage is completely dry. Because diatomaceous earth must be dry to physically dehydrate insects, any morning dew or rain will temporarily ruin its effectiveness until the powder dries back out. For the best results, lightly dust both the tops and bottoms of the dry leaves using a powder duster, and try to avoid spraying the open flowers so you do not accidentally harm helpful pollinating bees!16 days agoHelpful?
Q: Is it safe to put on dogs
17 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! No, you should not apply Garden Safe Crawling Insect Killer with Diatomaceous Earth directly onto your dog because this specific formula is registered as an environmental pesticide and will severely dry out their skin. Shaking this highly abrasive powder onto your pet's coat also creates a dangerous dust cloud that can permanently irritate and scar your dog's sensitive lungs if inhaled. If you want to use diatomaceous earth directly on your pet's body, you must switch to a product explicitly labeled as 100% pure food-grade diatomaceous earth, which is completely safe for direct skin application.16 days agoHelpful?
Q: Will this.harm my dog if it gets it on his paws
18 days ago- A: Thank you for your question. This product contains diatomaceous earth, which is generally considered low in toxicity to pets when used as directed. However, it may cause dryness or irritation to paws, skin, or eyes if your dog comes into direct contact with it. We recommend keeping pets off treated areas until the dust has settled and avoiding ingestion or inhalation of large amounts.16 days agoHelpful?
Q: Is this safe to use on my dogs for fleas…Like lightly coating them with it?
23 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! No, you must never apply Gordon's Permethrin 10 directly onto your dog straight from the bottle because this highly concentrated chemical and its petroleum distillates can cause severe poisoning and chemical burns.23 days agoHelpful?
Q: Will it kill ticks?
24 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! Yes, Garden Safe Crawling Insect Killer with Diatomaceous Earth will kill ticks by contact, but it is not listed as a primary target on this specific product packaging.23 days agoHelpful?
Q: How to apply inside your home
26 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! To apply Garden Safe Crawling Insect Killer with Diatomaceous Earth inside your home, you must spread a very thin, barely visible layer of the powder directly into the cracks, crevices, and hidden areas where pests travel.26 days agoHelpful?
