The Garden Safe 4 lb. Crawling Insect Killer with Diatomaceous Earth is a no-odor, non-staining insect control solution. Use Garden Safe diatomaceous pesticides both indoors and outdoors to kill listed crawling insects on contact. When crawling insects encounter or ingest this diatomaceous powder, they die within 24 hours. It's designed to control cockroaches, ants, beetles, fleas, bed bugs, carpet beetles, millipedes, crickets, silverfish and others as listed on the label. Use a hand duster, power duster or squeeze bottle (all sold separately) to apply.
- Use no-odor, non-staining Garden Safe diatomaceous earth indoors or outdoors to control listed crawling insects on contact
- Insects encounter or ingest diatomaceous powder and die within 24 hours and don't become immune to its killing action
- Kills cockroaches, ants, silverfish, beetles, fleas, bed bugs and other crawling insects as listed
- Use a hand duster, power duster or squeeze bottle to apply in areas where crawling insects are found (sold separately)
- Dust insects directly, if possible, and reapply when dust is no longer present or if insects are observed
- Ideal for areas where crawling insects are found, including in cracks and crevices, behind and beneath refrigerators, cabinets, stoves and garbage cans, on window frames and in attics and basements
- For outdoor use, dust diatomaceous crawling insect killer on patios, in planting beds, along ant trails and around sewer pipes and drains

Finally something that works!

I bought this brand after reading about it and thankfully it works! My Husband stayed at a high end motel and brought home bed bugs! Ew! I am highly allergic to their bites (Zyrtec!). :(
I cleaned out and dried an old dish soap bottle and used a funnel to put the product it in it. Wearing a face mask and eye protection goggles I put the lid on and lightly dusted everything from the celing down. Leave on for a week at a time and do your cleaning in between. I also used a paint brush to lightly apply Vicks Vapor rub to baseboards and around door frames and the bugs did not cross it. Buh bye nasty bed bugs!

Not Organic. Not food grade. Do not use on edible

Warning! While a lot of DE is considered food grade -- i.e. safe for vegetables -- this specific product is not meant for use on edible plants. The product is misleading and they do not list the 15% of unspecified ingredients. Don't use this on veggies. Go get food grade DE and leave this on the shelf.

Not safe for mammals

I thought since it was sold at Tractor Supply it was food grade safe for Mammals.
I bought it to control ants and scorpions however this is the refined high silica earth
I won’t use it around my property. Even if I bury it animals like cats and armadillos dig
in my yard and it is not safe.
No, I do not recommend this product.
