- A: Hi Colllli, Great Question. The Master Heater uses one 1lb canister at a time. One of the 1 lb cannisters will provide about 4.7 hours of heat on the lowest setting. Once one cannister is empty, you can use the 2nd one and get another 4.7 hours of heat on the lowest setting. The two 1 lb cannisters will provide over 9 hours of heat. Q: Do you need to use a regulator when using a 20 lb tank

- A: Great question. You do not need a regulator if you screw the hose into where the 1lb cylinder screws into (Hose part#: HH-20AD-5). If you are using the quick connect your hose needs a regulator which is on our hose assembly part HH-20QC-12. Thanks,2 years agoHelpful?

You would need a 20-lb adaptor to connect our Master Heater to the 20-lb propane source. There are two different adaptor options. Good but not good

This heater is a great value for the price. 2 things I don't like is that when I put it on medium or low, only half of the heating elements put out heat, and when on high setting, it automatically shuts off after a few minutes. Not sure if it's a defective unit that I have or if it's supposed to shut off after a certain amount of time for safety reasons, but it is rather annoying. I might return for another unit to see if a new unit works correctly or better.

Game changer for cold games!

This is fantastic for those fall or early spring sporting events, definitely keeps my family warm when watching their siblings on cold days for football, soccer and track! Easy to use, and easy to find the propane tanks. I usually go through two tanks at an event, and the $10 in propane is well worth the warmth the Master/Heat Hog provides!
