Q: what is the "anti-freeze" setting? how can I tell what temp it will turn on?
a month ago1 Answer
- A: The anti-freeze setting prevents your equipment from freezing in cold conditions. Simply turn the thermostat to the snowflake mark to turn this feature on. While the designed activation temperature is 0°C (32°F), there is a 5°C allowable tolerance. Therefore, the heater will automatically switch on when the surrounding temperature drops to around 5°C (41°F).a month agoHelpful?

Q: Heater keeps shutting off
7 months ago1 Answer
- A: The thermostat maintains your desired room temperature which works on both the high and low mode, with an adjustable range of 0-85°F. This heater offers two power modes to suit your needs: High (1500W): Heats the room more quickly; Low (1300W): Provides a more energy-efficient operation, reducing electricity usage. In either mode, once the room reaches the temperature you set on the thermostat, the heater will automatically turn off. It will turn back on only when the temperature drops below your setting, ensuring consistent comfort. Therefore, as an example putting it on low setting, if you set the thermostat to its minimum (0°F), the heater will activate whenever the room temperature is below that point7 months agoHelpful?
Q: Number of elements?
8 months ago1 Answer
- A: There is one set containing two heating elements.8 months agoHelpful?
Q: What is the maximum run time?
8 months ago1 Answer
- A: For safety reasons, it is generally recommended that portable electric space heaters are not left running unattended for extended periods, such as overnight, to prevent potential fire hazards. Typical recommended usage times for general electric space heaters while attended are often 6 to 8 hours during the day. While the heater itself can technically run as long as it has power and does not overheat, it should be used in accordance with general safety guidelines for electric space heaters, meaning it should be monitored during use and turned off when you leave the area or go to sleep.8 months agoHelpful?

More heat than the Ceramic even with same wattage
2 years ago
I've tried both the Redstone Ceramic and Metal Utility/Multi-Purpose Heater for my freezing cold bathroom. I returned the Ceramic simply because the utility heater puts out more heat and heats up the bathroom quicker. Your clue is the larger heating surface area and the fan size; both are much bigger than the Ceramic. Another clue, for older folks who grew up in a 1950's to 1970's tract home, is the coiled metal heating elements in the Utility heater. Bathrooms on those older tract homes had built-in wall heaters with the same coiled metal heating elements but without the fan, and those heaters easily heated up the bathroom. Here's your best bathroom heater!

Dented
Bought from the store and when I got it out of the box it's already dented. Don't have time right now to take it back cause the store is 25 minutes away. I thought buying in store would be safe than having it shipped. I was wrong.
