Great heater

My wife bought two of these heaters eight, YES EIGHT! years ago and they are the best heaters we own. They still work as well as the day we bought them. We own smaller 1500 watt heaters but do not heat as well as this one does. I cant believe they still make this heater. I would recommend this heater to anybody that wants to heat a single room. What a great buy!

Cheap plastic

I didnt even manage to get the heater out of the box before it broke. I used the built-in handle to pull it out and the plastic broke apart including the dials and cables. It wasnt a tight fit in the box either.

Only good if you sit next to it

The fan doesn't blow at all yet makes a lot of noise. It throws a lot of heat if you sit next to it. But it wouldn't stay running. It would shut off after 15 minutes and you had to unplug it awhile then plug it bsck in and it would run another 15 minutes.

Broken On/Off switch

01.28.26 Positives: 1. Instant warm heat 2. Quiet.
Negatives: 1. Cheaply buildt out of plastic; including the On/Off knob - which broke on 2 out of the 3 units I own (pictures attached).
The original unit (10+ years old) is made out of metal and is still working well (very pleased with this heater and wanted to purchase a couple more like it).
The plastic-replacements heaters heat very well, (no complaints with that), but after a two winters, the On/Off knob broke on both heaters. I'd rather pay more $ for the original metal heater, but it is no longer an option. Beware if you buy this plastic heater.
