Works well per individual rooms. Do not place in close proximity to your cental heat thermostat. It will think the room is too warm & won't kick on for the rest of the home.

It might smell like it’s burning at first but leave it on for about an hour or two and that smell will go away. It does a good job at warming up small spaces and it is quite.
