I’ve just started my second season with a TS248XD mower and this bagger, and the same design flaws people have been complaining about for years are still present. Nothing has been done to address them—shame on you, Husqvarna. First, the two bolts used to mount the chute to the deck have to be inserted from the inside of the deck outward. This is absurd. The rear bolt can barely be installed by reaching through the lower part of the chute, but the front bolt essentially requires a lift or a place where the deck can overhang just to access the hole. Poor design, plain and simple. Second, the chute gasket tears almost immediately. Mine was already ripped when I picked it up from the dealer; they replaced it. The first time I removed the chute to empty the bag, the replacement gasket tore as well. Third, while mowing, the chute pops out of the gasket and blows grass on the back of your head. Fourth, the snap‑together plastic frame that surrounds the gasket doesn’t stay snapped. When it comes apart, grass blows onto the back of your head. My fix: I bought a 12" × 12" sheet of silicone, cut a hole for the chute, and made a rigid frame that bolts in place. I added a bungee cord to stabilize the chute. Last season the front deck bolt was actually lost while mowing when the wing nut spun itself off. I noticed it was gone but kept mowing anyway—and it worked exactly the same without it. In the end, I turned a 2‑star bagger into a 5‑star bagger for under $30. Just because Husqvarna won’t fix it doesn’t mean you can’t! See pic. Gasket matches color. Frame was made from a dry-erase board. It's become an extended use prototype.

Considered buying this mower but not after reading the terrible reviews of this bagger system. Looks like I will be going John Deere again. Do better Husqvarna.

Assembly was simple and quick. However, slightly higher grass becomes easily clogged in the chute requiring a shut down of the machine and removal of clogged grass by hand. The connection between the collector's lower tube and the mower opening is not sealed enough to create a consistent flow of air into the bags. Full bag indicator has never moved even at initial start up.

The bagger states its for clear cut model. Apparently i have an older version that does not use the pull straps to hold in place. I have a bilted style mulch set up. So i had to modify the cutter attachment myself.
