Q&As

Q: What's size is the holes

1 Answer
  • A: The two mounting openings are actually slots, each 2-½" in length, allowing plenty of room for a customizable fit. As long as the holes on the back of your mower are between 2.5" and 6.5" apart from each other, a Z-Hitch will work for you. Pin-hitch hole: The Z-Hitch's pin-hitch hole measures ¾" — the perfect size to accommodate a number of hitch pins. It works well with pins that have a ½" diameter. Ball hitch: While it's technically compatible with any tow ball size, it's best used with a light-duty 1-⅞" tow ball

Q: What is the bolt size

1 Answer
  • A: It is recommended to use a 9/16" wrench which corresponds to a 3/8" bolt. Also note this is a universal-fit plate, so it generally mounts using the existing nuts-and-bolts location on the back of your mower rather than shipping with a full bolt kit. If your zero-turn mower has a spot on the back to accommodate nuts and bolts, you can very likely install a Z-Hitch on it

Q: Will it fit a zero turn Toro time cutter max

1 Answer
  • A: The Z-Hitch is marketed as a universal plate — it's designed to fit all zero-turn mowers, working with any make and model, and that explicitly includes Toro. The Toro TimeCutter MAX line is a standard residential/light-commercial zero-turn, so it falls squarely within what this hitch is built for. The one thing to verify is the mounting. The plate doesn't bolt to a Toro-specific bracket — it attaches to existing holes on the rear of the mower frame. As the manufacturer puts it, if your zero-turn has a spot on the back to accommodate nuts and bolts, you can very likely install a Z-Hitch on it. Most TimeCutter MAX models have a rear frame cross-member or bumper area you can drill/bolt to, so this is rarely a problem, but it's worth eyeballing the back of your specific machine before buying. You may need to drill a hole or two to line things up.

Q: Will this fit Warhawk commander pro Mower

2 Answers
  • A: It's designed to fit all zero-turn mowers and intended to work in conjunction with any make and model of zero-turn mower. The Warhawk Commander Pro is a commercial-grade zero-turn (the 60" runs a 38.5 HP engine, with a 72" version also offered), so it falls squarely within the category the Z-Hitch is built for. The Z-Hitch is rated for off-road use only, and it's a relatively light-duty hitch (best with a smaller tow ball). On a powerful commercial mower it's easy to out-tow the hitch's intended load, so match the trailer/cart weight to the hitch, not to the mower's pulling power.

  • A: It does seem this will fit the model in question. We recommend that you measure the rear of the mower and make sure it fits within the parameters of the diagram on the TSC website or the back of the package.

Q: Does this come with the backing plate?

1 Answer
  • A: No, the Good Vibrations Z-Hitch 3-Way Zero-Turn Mower Hitch Plate does not come with a backing plate. The product includes only the single, heavy-duty steel hitch plate and relies on the mower's existing rear plate for mounting.

Q: will this fit bad boy 2024 ezt maverick kzt?

1 Answer
  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. As long as your 2024 EZT Maverick KZT has rear bolt-hole spacing between roughly 2.5″ and 6.5″, it should bolt right on without modification.

Q: Is this a direct bolt on to my Cub Cadet ZT1 54 Ultra zero turn mower?

  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. The Good Vibrations Z-Hitch 3-Way Zero-Turn Mower Hitch Plate is designed for universal compatibility. Fits just right

I have a Cub Cadet zero-turn mower. The hitch attached to the back plate just fine. The back plate was detached a bit to allow us the ability to attach the hitch plate, and that was the only adjustment needed.
