The Ohio Steel 15 cu. ft. Poly Swivel Lawn Tractor Dump Cart is ideal for large hauling jobs around your yard, farm or estate. The 15 cu. ft. heaped capacity structural foam poly bed will hold an impressive 1000 pounds. Upon activation of the step-on dump release pedal, the cart bed tilts and swivels to empty the load anywhere within a 105 degree radius.

I like most everything about the cart except I use it on the back of my 4 wheeler to haul hunting gear along some rocky terrain which causes it to tip over on it's side so I modified it. Bought two new tires and replaced the axle so now I have a dually!

Nice features, big oversight

I bought this dump cart last year to move about 35 yards of topsoil. That's quite a bit of soil, and I averaged 10-12 cf per load. The trailer can definitely take a load, but there are three issues I can find with the cart.
1. It doesn't dump well. With a typical box you can dump, pull forward a little and your're empty. Kind of an essential feature of a dump cart. With this cart, about 1/3 to 1/2 of the material is stuck in the cart, held by the shape of the rear "lip". Which means, you're shoveling it out. Not a big deal with mulch or leaves, but it gets pretty old with loads of soil, gravel, or larger rock. It also has a weird fulcrum point that makes heavy loads (like soil, sand, or gravel) an effort to dump.
2. It is really, really tall. I'm 6'1", and I think it's a long lift throwing shovelful after shovelful of soil into this jacked up cart.
3. The pivot idea is pretty cool, but really I don't find myself using it often, and the tongue is REALLY thin metal. At some point I see myself making a sturdier platform for this, along with a linear actuator.

The wheel bearing came out after a couple months use. Ohio Steel wouldn't honor the warranty, nor would they send me the right bearing.
