- A: In order to tow the unit if your mower doesn't have a hitch plate you will need to purchase one. If using a zero turn you must take wide turns in order as to not get the sweeper in to the mower wheels and sharp turns will also damage the wheels.4 months agoHelpful?

Better than I thought…

Works exactly as I want. I use it on a Cub Cadet ZT offset so it works the discharge path in a couple acres. The collection bag could stand to be more robust however it is what it is. No more grass lines and works great picking up leaves and sticks from the driveway (ugh…pecan trees).

We purchased our lawn sweeper in 2016. It worked fine until 2025 at which time we began have issues with the wheels. We ordered new pinion gears, then new wheels. Then everything started to go downhill in a handcart--fast! We were pleased with the sweeper for 9 years and considering how much grass we picked up, we felt that user errors could have been contributory to our problems. We mow about 7 acres each summer and have used this sweeper to its full potential. We have no complaints other than the wheels being made of plastic, but I fear that making the wheels out of steel would probably increase the price beyond the point that I could justify purchasing. So...all that being said, we have just ordered a brand-new sweeper to replace the old!
