- A: In order to tow the unit if your mower doesn't have a hitch plate you will need to purchase one. If using a zero turn you must take wide turns in order as to not get the sweeper in to the mower wheels and sharp turns will also damage the wheels.3 months agoHelpful?

poor bag design

After the first pass on the lawn one of the bolts fell out and I had to put another in holding the hitch on. Second dumping the bolt holding the bag on came loose, not enough threads, so I put better bolts in. The wires that hold the bag up keep falling out and need to be put back in place. Other than that it picks up the grass well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice but time will tell

I assembled the lawn sweeper and have used it once so far. It did a great job picking up grass clippings and leaves, and it also left nice sweep lines in the lawn that gave the yard a well-maintained look.
The only issue was that one of the wheel rims had a broken piece of plastic (about 2" x 1") when I opened the box. I'm hoping it doesn't affect the wheel's durability over time.
The box itself was in pretty rough shape when I picked it up. It looked like it may have gotten wet at some point and then dried out, which weakened the cardboard. Because of that, I suspect the wheel damage may have occurred during handling rather than being a manufacturing defect.
Overall, I'm pleased with its performance so far. The real test will come this fall when I have a yard full of leaves to clean up. I'm not sure how well the Velcro bag will hold up. I have a zero turn, so you have to get off the mower to dump it.
