Good sweeper but hard to assemble

This is a very nice lawn sweeper. It does a good job. The only problem i had was with the assembly instructions. Please help future customers by reviewing and improving the assembly instructions. Itwould be helpful if you put a numbered sticker on most of the parts and detailed the steps in order to help in the assembly process. At the factory you are very familiar with all the parts and the steps of assembly but your customers are not..

Bought this because it was made in Ohio and support local companies. Problem with the sweeper is the outer metal housing did not completely fit over the axle at the ends near the wheels. The housing seemed to be bent inwards at the ends and the height adjustment pin would not seat into the holes in the housing. Only way to make it work was to bend the housing and try and fasten the housing ends closer to the wheels. Poorly made.

Works great but a few problems

I needed a large capacity sweeper and this one looked like the best built. It works great once you get it adjusted right. Make sure that you configure the hitch position as low as possible so the hopper bag does not drag on the ground.Now for a few problems: The assembly manual was not proofed very well, there are 5 assembly steps where the part numbers in the descrption do not match the part numbers shown in the diagrams which causes some confusion and extra time to finish assembly. Also since they only put a very light coating of grease on the gears and wheel sprockets make sure that before you use it to take the wheels off and lubricate them with white grease like they tell tou to do on page 11 Periodic Maintenance.

This item is the best purchase I have made for cleaning up the leaves on my property. The customer should know before hand that there is a video provided to assist in the assembly but without access to the internet, you have to rely on the written instructions provided.

Assembly way simple and straightforward. Debris bag fabric appears strong and resilient. Like the adjustable brush height and “transport” setting. Lateral hitch adjustment is a nice option.
