Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive food plot spreader I was trying to clear a small section of land for a food plot. My first attempt was with a 2 gallon pump sprayer bottle by hand. I spent about 4 hours trying to spray glyphosate on half an acre. 2 weeks later the plot looked like I hadn't done anything to it. It was still green and full of weeds. After reading the reviews on this, I thought it's quite an investment price wise, but sometimes you have to pay to have the right tool. I had to search around on-line to find the closest store that had one in stock and I ended up driving about 45 miles to get it (there were 2 closer stores, but neither had it in stock). Upon getting it home, I set to work putting it together. It took me about an hour. The next evening, I connected it to my tractor's 3 pt assembly, extended the arms, and placed the alligator clips on the battery. I then backed it up close to my water supply and placed 30 gallons of water in it. I mixed in the appropriate amount of glyphosate and I was on my way. I made a single pass over the plot and stopped the tractor to check how saturated the weeds were and was quite impressed. Even though this thing only has 4 nozzles spread out over 10 feet, it completely soaked the weeds and ground. 4 days later every weed in the plot was dead thanks to the thorough soaking this attachment provided. From here, I'm interested to see how long this attachment lasts. For a small garden/hobby farmer, I'll have to get prolonged use out of this to make it pay for itself, but the fact of how well it has worked so far, has left me feeling pretty good about my purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk I've has this sprayer for 1.5 years. The first year the tank cracked on the second use. I then ordered a new tank and installed it. The first pass on my 1.5 acre field the tank bursted and all my chemicals spilled out. The weak link are the bolts underneath. It's made to bolt the tank directly to the frame. If you hit the smallest rut or uneven spot the bolts rip outbof the tank causing major leaks. This has happened twice now to me. I'm very disappointed in this sprayer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I purchased this product and it was one that was pre assembled. I did not purchase the items and assemble it myself, it was not in the factor box. I used it one time shortly after my purchase. Worked well at first. Then 2 months later when I went to use it again all for places where the bolts secure the tank to the frame had split and was pouring the liquid inside out on the ground. I went back to the Fayette Alabama Tractor Supply store which is where I purchased it and have not been able to get any assistance from anyone. Now my year is about run out. I will not purchase another high dollar item from the store. Have almost stopped buying anything but dog food and may start purchasing it off line to stop buying it too. Again, the store assembled it, I did not!!

Can the booms be adjusted to spray vertically on the sides, instead of down toward the ground?

Asked by: Gr8pes
The boom could be rotated 90 degrees and the wings folded so they point up.

What’s the difference between this model and Fimco 40 gal. 4-Nozzle 3 Point Hitch Sprayer, 5302941 SKU # 135429599? Also would a kubota bx2360 be able to handle the sprayer?

Asked by: TYDK
They are the same sprayer. It is built to fit a category 1 hitch. It weighs 421 pounds when full of spray. You will need to consult your operator's manual to verify the tractors load rating.
