Q: Can I add a longer hose, let's say a 150 foot to the unit. Can the pump be upgraded to a larger one?
7 days ago- A: We do not recommend extending the hose to 150 feet. Here is why, along with what you need to know regarding pump upgrades: Hose Length & Pressure Drop: Pumping liquid through 150 feet of hose creates significant pressure loss. We recommend a maximum hose length of 50 feet on this unit. Pushing past 50 feet causes a dramatic drop in pressure at the spray tip, resulting in a weak spray pattern and reduced horizontal/vertical reach. Pump Upgrades: Swapping to a larger GPM pump will not solve the pressure issue on a long hose run. Higher GPM pumps push a larger volume of fluid, but the narrow diameter of a long hose creates friction that restricts flow and kills the pressure at the nozzle regardless of pump capacity. Additionally, larger pumps require higher amp draws that may exceed standard wiring limits. For optimal performance, distance, and spray pattern, keeping the hose length at or under 50 feet is strongly advised.5 days agoHelpful?
Q: Can a pressure washer be used with this system?
13 days ago- A: The short answer is no, you absolutely cannot connect a pressure washer directly to the sprayer's pump or manifold. The sprayer’s High Flo pump is a low-pressure diaphragm pump designed to top out at 60 PSI. Feeding that 12-volt pump into a high-pressure machine (which requires a high-volume gravity feed or a pressurized garden hose and operates at thousands of PSI) will instantly starve the pressure washer, ruin its pump, and completely destroy the sprayer’s manifold and plumbing.10 days agoHelpful?
Q: Does the unit have a agitator?
3 months ago- AI-generated, Human-approvedA: Yes, the unit features a bypass line that acts as a recirculation system to keep chemicals mixed. This system diverts a portion of the flow back into the tank to provide agitation.3 months agoHelpful?
Q: Is there a trailer you can put this tank on?
3 months ago- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Please reach out to Fimco directly for assistance with this specific inquiry. They can be reached at 1-800-831-0027.3 months agoHelpful?
Q: Is this safe to transport drinking water to fill a camper fresh water tank?
4 months ago- A: No, the Fimco 65 gal. Lawn and Garden Spot Sprayer (5303623) is not safe for transporting drinking water. It is specifically designed for agricultural chemicals and does not meet the standards required for potable water storage.4 months agoHelpful?
Q: I dont see specs for tank agitation, but I do see that there’s a bypass line. Is this to circulate back into the tank to keep chemicals mixed?
4 months ago- A: Yes, the bypass line acts as a recirculation system by diverting a portion of the flow back into the tank, which helps keep chemicals mixed. It also serves as your pressure regulator, allowing you to decrease the spray pressure at the wand by opening the bypass valve.4 months agoHelpful?
Q: Can you adjust the pressure down?
5 months ago- A: Yes, you can absolutely adjust the pressure down on the Fimco 65 gal. Lawn and Garden Spot Sprayer!5 months agoHelpful?
Q: Is the tank baffled?
5 months ago- A: no the tank is not baffled.5 months agoHelpful?
Q: Can system be used as a hydroseeder?
6 months ago- A: It would not be recommended for this type of use. You would experience a considerable amount of clogging on the strainers, as well as it may also affect the check valve in the pump.6 months agoHelpful?
Q: Does this tank have a manifold with multiple outlets?
11 months ago- A: there is a manifold connected to the pump with 3 outlets. One outlet connects to the hand wand, one is for the bypass line and a third one for the connection of a boom if you should so happen to want to attach one.10 months agoHelpful?
