The UV resistant, molded polymer tank has a 5 inch tethered lid for easy access and is completely drainable. This model lawn and garden sprayer features the best in class High Flo High Performance 2.4 GPM 12 Volt Pump with inline fuse protection. The Deluxe Pistol Grip Spray Wand with an adjustable spray pattern brass tip distributes up to 40 feet of horizontal spray, 25 feet of vertical spray and comes with 20 feet of 3/8 inch hose. Q: Is this equipped with the bypass valve that returns product to the tank? Some Fimco sprayers have this as the way to regulate pressure, but none of the images show the bypass valve attached to the pump.

- A: The 5303793 deluxe 40-gallon spot sprayer does have a bypass to allow returning some of the product to the tank and is used also for lowering spray pressure if needed. It looks like Tractor Supply is using the wrong picture. Another deluxe 40-gallon spot sprayer, number 5302186, is what the pictures seem to reflect and that sprayer doesn't have the manifold with bypass. Otherwise, you'd still see a pressure gauge sticking up above the pump if it were the correct picture. Tractor Supply does purchase the 5303793 sprayer, so am guessing it's just a wrong picture they're using.2 months agoHelpful?

- A: Joe, this 40-gallon spot sprayer is basically the same as what is on the 40-gallon 3PT sprayer, as they are both the exact same tank, pump and spray gun. The only thing you would need is the barb for the connection to the boom. - A: Austin, thank you for your interest in the 40-gallon spot sprayer from Tractor Supply. The pump is rated at 60 PSI, meaning when you close all discharges, the sprayer will build to that pressure and shut the pump motor off. It does not mean that it sprays at that pressure.a year agoHelpful?

Tank split down side seam after less than 1 year

Tank split down side seam after less than 1 year. I watched others on youtube that have had the same issue. There is a manufacturing issue with this tank and it will split down the seam on the side.

Poor quality

Purchased April of 2025. Used it for about 3 days. Cleaned out, emptied and stored in a dry modern barn. Took it out this year (April 2026) to do some spraying and the front seam of the tank was leaking. Spent $300 and used it for 3 days. TSC would not replace it. NOT recommended!

We bought this sprayer maybe 1 or 2 years ago, and the only thing we ever sprayed thought it was clean water. It was stored in our implement shed, we were finally going to use it and the tank split at the seam. We have bought cheaper sprayers than this and never had a tank split. Piece of Junk.

Reliable ~ Durable ~ Versatile

I have used these spray tanks for years in my pest control business, and have found them to be quite reliable and durable. The last one I had was a 45 ga. pull behind that I used with the 6ft boom applying fertilizer on lawns.. I used it everyday on multiple accounts, with 100 of gallons ran through it everyday for 8 years! ..and it never failed! For the price point, it's an awesome purchased.. I am now retired and have purchased this new 40ga. and am using it to provide a pressurized water system in an RV/Toyhauler conversion, and it works perfectly.. it provides, on demand, 40 lbs. of water pressure providing water service to the commode and sinks.. even to the point of use hot water system for showers!
You wont be disappointed with this Sprayer!
