My 1 Hour Saturday morning install - 2017 1500 Silverado: Remove splash shield. Layout & drill 1 1/4" clearance hole thru splash shield for rear mounting bolt. Install all 3 bolts & plates into frame holes. Reinstall splash shield. Tape conical and 9/16 washers up at front mounting holes, as shown on instructions. Tape up 1/2" washers at rear mounting hole. Raise hitch on floor jack into place. Start all 3 nuts and use conical washers. Tighten all nuts. Torque to 75 lb ft per instructions. Let the front air dam flex, cleaner look than trimming the air dam. Let the splash shield flex at rear mounting bolt. And Bob's your Uncle............
