Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price! Handled great behind my 1/2 ton truck. I wasn’t to impressed with the way they have the wiring ran that wasn’t thought threw. An kinda surprised the do come with a tongue box already (even a wire on). But will be adding on in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont Buy unless you check everything. I purchased this Trailer on 4-22-18 from the from my local TSC in Denham Springs LA. After selecting the one I wanted to purchase, taking a picture of the tag, price and item-vin number went inside and spent 30 minutes trying to tell them the information I was showing was correct and it was right outside as they couldn't find it on file. FINALLY they walked outside to actually look to see. Spent another 30min trying to find and complete paper work. That night I received ticket due to faulty lights that should have worked, so please check them if you do decided to buy this item. I contacted customer service who said they spoke to the GM at the store and he would handle it. After finally getting into touch with him, he acted like I was a bother and had little time to even spend to discuss what was going on. I was suppose to receive a credit on the trailer PER THE GM as well as a new (MSO) Title which I lost ( BUT OFFERED TO PAY FOR PLUS ANY ADDITIONAL FEE) I need this MSO (TITLE) to pay taxes on a trailer that the lights still don't work on. The customer service from TSC corporate office seemed great and eager to help but as far as the store managers, I have been blown off, haven't received a call and when I called today about paying for the missing title (MSO) no one knew about it including the manager who sold me the trailer and who's name is signed on the bill of sale have. So not only did I get a trailer with lights that didn't work, but horrible customer service from this store. I will replaced the lights myself at my own expense, but am at there mercy of this store for my title and MSO because I am now late to pay taxes on trailer because of no title. I do admit losing it was my fault, I did contact them 2 days later, again 1 week later and again today. I have offered to pay the fee to get new MSO and was assured to be contact before my 40 days are up. Still Nothing. Do not trust the lights on this product or the managers words that anything will be done for you if an issues arises or expect a call or email back from the store. Customer service did try to help but I guess this GM at this local store can do whatever he choose and not anything for the customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice trailer for the money! I bought this trailer a month ago to haul my 30 hp Kubota. I purchased a 5 x 8 trailer from Tractor Supply 6 years ago. That one held up great. So far this has been great. I like the fact it has a spring loaded gate. Also, I purchased it online. Everything went great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good trailer but...... I've owned one of these since 1997. It has hauled hundreds of cars, tractors, loads of furniture, etc. I guess I can't complain. But I will. The paint on these is best off sandblasted away and replaced with real primer and paint. Look underneath... On mine there was plenty of bare metal. I tossed the mesh ramps years ago, they aren't for the loads I used to pull. Perhaps they'd work if you don't haul cars and heavy mowers or tractors. Rewiring is a yearly task with these, unless you go big and put conduit and heavy gauge wire in. Tail lights are disposable and not protected. But they are cheap. And the wiring is all suitcase connectors IE Scotch Lock splices. That doesn't last long in the Northeast. 6 months maybe? I got brakes on mine, both axles. Another poorly wired electrical circuit, and the axles crushed the wiring within a year. They are good brakes when they work, well worth putting some effort into moving the wires to a place they won't get hurt. I don't know if you can special order a trailer with brakes anymore but they do have brake kits in the store. My jack lasted about a year. Best to replace it when it wears out with a removable socket mounted jack and store it away from the weather. Set the tongue on some hardwood blocking, and it will be a little harder to steal without the jack. The stock jack might last much longer if you take it apart and get some grease into it before it gets rusty. I didn't. If you don't mind doing some work it can be a great trailer. Mine's lasted almost 20 years and that should count for something! Mine's getting a little more flexible and twists more easily than it used to. If you have uneven loads that might be a concern. Just don't expect this or any other trailer in this price range to be trouble free for decades. And for pete's sakes --- don't loan it out.

What is the layout of the metal structure underneath the wood floor? I need to figure out the best placement of a heavy piece of equipment on the trailer.

Asked by: Bpotter
6x14GW2BRK model: This model has 2x3 Angle Cross members on approx. 16" centers. Load Placement has to be balanced with about 10-15% tongue weight. Balance of the load is primary. These trailers are designed to have the payload distributed evenly throughout the entire trailer. It is not designed to have the max. payload weight concentrated in one location. Max. payload for this trailer is 5500lbs. Recommended payload is 80% of that.
