The Pleasant Hearth 32" Circulating Zero-Clearance Universal Vent-Free Firebox does not have a maximum BTU rating because it is only a firebox enclosure and not a heating appliance. It does not produce heat on its own and is designed to house a separate vent-free gas log set or burner. The BTU output is determined entirely by the gas log set or burner installed inside the firebox, not the firebox itself. Typical compatible vent-free log sets for a 32" firebox are often rated around 30,000 BTUs, but the exact maximum BTU will depend on the specific model of log set used.
