Every solid fuel stove loses a large amount of heat thru the chimney and flue - this heat re-claimer is here to help! The US Stove Miracle Heat 6 in. Heat Re-Claimer is designed to get a large portion of this heat back. Install this heat re-claimer into a 12 in. section of the stove pipe just above the stove. Complete with an integrated thermo disk, this heat re-claimer senses the heat in the chimney.

Had ours for 2 yrs love it !!! helps put a lot of heat upstairs reply to person that says he has to clean his chimney so often I put my potato peeling in stove once a month or so and we have never had to clean our chimney it is clean as heck every time we check it don't know how it does it but keeps the chimney clean just have to clean out the cleanout at bottom of chimney couple times a year

This works excellent as far as getting the most out of your wood stove. A huge downside to this unit is that you will need to clean your chimney about once a month due to the cooling effect it has on the chimney itself. We have used this now for 2 months and decided to remove it for this reason. With New York's cold weather oncoming it won't be practical to have our stove down for anytime period to clean it. I have cleaned it twice now with really only burning at night. Great option if you don't want to pay the money for a blower otherwise steer clear.

Crappy product! You can do better

Crappy product! It is so noisy that we have to stop our conversations until it stops blowing. Tried to work with US Stove to replace it, but they put me off, told me to do nonsense stuff, and then they claimed that it is now out of warranty - only because they put me off! Don't buy this product! Instead, but something that actually works!
