Designed for use with all Buddy heaters except the Little Buddy (Model 4B), this fuel filter helps prevent contaminants from reaching your heater to support reliable operation and extend performance. Most commonly used with a bulk propane cylinder and hose assembly, the filter is easy to install and should be replaced annually for continued protection.

- A: Thank you for your inquiry. Without the filter, oils from the hose can find their way into the fuel lines of the heater, which can cause issues. There isn't a set time for how long it will take this to happen, so we don't recommend doing so at all.4 years agoHelpful?

We didn't realize we needed this untl about 2 days before the ice storm. We were fortunate there were some left in stock a one of the stores a little farther away. We did end up losing our electricity so we were very glad we had it.
