RUTLAND Grapho-Glas Stove Gasket Kits include both high-quality gasketing in convenient rope or tape, plus cement to allow the DIY homeowner to confidently replace worn-out gaskets in wood stoves, coal stoves, outdoor wood boilers, and fireplace inserts. This graphite-impregnated gasketing resists abrasion, creosote adhesion, and temperatures up to 1000 degrees F (530 degrees C) and is braided to resist fraying. The kit also contains a 1.35 oz. tube of RUTLAND E-Z Spread Fiberglass Stove Gasket Cement to attach the provided gasketing securely.

Works Great At a Good Price

This gasket was easy to install at a good price, all i did was take a wire wheel and put it in to a drill and that cleans your door up pretty nice then i wiped it down with alcohol and spread the glue on with a Qtip and it has worked just fine, just make sure you clean your door good before you install it and you should have no problems.

Rope gasket works well

I bought this set about a month ago to seal the door on a 55 gallon drum that was turned into a 3 rack charcoal smoker. The gasket did its job its the right thickness and lenght ,but the sealant is worthless, I use red rtv gasket maker to apply the gasket to the smoker.

I liked this product was in a sealed package. I didn't like the cement included flowed like water until I cut at least 1/4" off the tip then needed both hands to squeeze out the contents. To early to say if the gasket material is any good. Too early to say if the cement will even hold the gasket on place. It is early enough to think this product sickered me out of money. Don't by Rutland crap.

Good But Cancelled Item Lost Money

I bought this item and also two of the 1/2" one also. One of the 1/2" was cancelled and the other was picked up. No idea why cancel one and get one also of same item. Went gave refund they did not give the taxes on the item price back. So I lost the taxes on it. Anyone else ever get refund better check most likely you don't get your taxes back on cancelled items. I didn't.
