The Mr.Heater Vent Free Installation Kit is made up of a 12-foot hose and regulator. It connects vent free heaters and other gas appliances to 5 to 20 lb propane tanks. The low pressure hose and 11 inch water column regulator has a BTU capacity of 162,000. This kit should only be used for temporary installation and not permanent installation.

12 FT heater connection hose to a propane tank

This is an exact item that I needed to hook up my heater. It works great but it is a little tricky to connect to the propane tank as the thread connection needs to align up perfectly in order to seat properly.

Been to three ts stores, everybody has the heater....no hose kit,which should come with it....oh. did they tell you it wouldn't work with a 20lb tank, no..Returning the heater

Kit is great, but not everything was in the package. A crackhead stole all the double male fittings out of each one, so now I have to go out and find one to make it work. Easy fix would be to staple the package closed.
