Good idea, needs to be stronger

I bought these for my chickens and turkeys. They work just fine, until one of the birds decides to sit or climb on one. The plastic hinge pins are just not strong enough to support the weight, so the cup snaps off, draining the entire reservoir of water onto the ground. Good concept, but either needs to be made stronger (metal hinge pins) or only used for smaller breeds of chickens, definitely not turkeys.
