THIS LARGE WATER CONTAINER IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, ADD WATER THROUGH THE NICE TOP SREW ON SCREW OFF LID, USE THE SMALL WHITE SCREW INCLUDED, FROM THE TOP EDGE NEAR TOP, ABD USE TO CLOSE OFF WATER FLOWING OUT AT THE BOTTOM WHEN YOU FILL HER UP, REATTACH THE BLACK TOP LID, AND THEN USE THE WHITE SCREW ON SCREW OFF CAP FROM BOTTOM WATER CARRIER UNDER NEATH IT, AND YOUR CHICKENS WILL BE CLICKING AND TALKING ALOUD THANKING YOU!!!

Absolutely the worst

This is prob the worst chicken waterer that I have ever had. If you don’t get the lid screwed on just right it will either not allow the water to flow out at all or drain the entire 5 gallons on your floor (which is usually what happens). This thing will def make you frustrated. Stay away and save your sanity!

This waterer would be good for people who have the availability to sit at home all day and adjust the knob. However, if you are someone who is busy, just get the metal 5 gal waterer. This is terrible. I bought three of them a few hrs ago and just went to return them and get the metal ones.
