The OverEZ Chicken Waterer is the clean, convenient, watering solution for healthy chickens. This chicken watering device is great for both indoor and outdoor use and holds around 12 gallons of water. The OverEZ chicken waterer eliminates daily maintenance by providing clean water for up to a month. To train chickens, 1. Remove lid and add 11/2 cups of raw, organic apple cider vinegar (optional). 2. Fill with 12 gallons of water and replace lid, ensuring a secure fit. 3. Remove all other water sources and gather chickens around the waterer. 4. Tap nipples until water fills the cup (red color naturally attracts chickens). When one chicken begins drinking, others will follow. 5. Check water levels every 4 weeks and refill as needed. Discard any stale water before refilling. Blocks or bricks may be placed under the feeder to accommodate your chickens' feeding height preferences.

- A: Hi Neighbor- To teach your chickens to use the OverEZ waterer, remove all other water sources, fill the waterer, and then tap each nipple to fill the small cup with water, attracting the chickens. One chicken drinking will encourage the others, and you may need to gently tap a chicken's beak to its own nipple to get it started. You can also place blocks or bricks underneath the waterer to adjust its height and make it more comfortable for your flock.a year agoHelpful?

I bought one of these several years ago on clearance and it was the best thing to happen to chicken chores! No more having to change water daily. The large size holds days worth of waterer. I have had zero issues with algae and the water always looks and feels clean. In the winter, just drop the appropriate heater through the opening in the lid and you're set. No more constant bleaching, no more cheap waterers.
I now own three!

The waterer leaks around the nipple. Haven’t even had it two months. Now I can’t return it. Sad and very unhappy.

It’s a decent product. However the price is a bit high, I found that who ever installed the nipples they just drilled a hole and forced the nipples to thread themselves. Nah a tap should be run in first in my opinion. Other than that it’s pretty good.
