Majic Tractor Truck & Implement Enamel Paint is a durable, heavy-duty alkyd enamel paint specially formulated for excellent adhesion, and resistance to weathering and corrosion. It may be applied by brush or spray, and dries to a high gloss finish. For use on iron, steel, aluminum and properly primed galvanized metal. It dries to a high gloss finish. Available in 1 gal. cans of paint.

- A: Recommended Number Of Coats 2 Time Before Recoating 24 hours You shouldn't need to wet or sand it as long as you're coating within the correct amount of time and using as recommended.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can a clear coat be sprayed over this paint

- A: A clear coat can be sprayed over top of Majic IH White Tractor Truck & Implement Enamel Paint 8-2951-1, but we recommend using only Majic Clear Coat High Gloss Lacquer 8-2999. The enamel paint should be allowed to cure for at least 14 prior to applying the clear coat. Reason is that Majic Clear Coat Lacquer contains strong solvents. Even though the base coat of paint seems completely dry in 24 hours, there remains residual solvent in the paint film that can “rewet” if top-coated too soon with the strong solvent clear-coat. Waiting the proper length of time and applying the Majic Clear Coat Lacquer is worthwhile. It provides an additional layer of protection that improves gloss and color retention, as well as the overall life of the paint job.3 years agoHelpful?

- A: The theoretical spread rate for I.H. White Tractor & Implement Enamel is 625 square feet per gallon. A coat of primer will provide greater adhesion to the substrate, more than double the corrosion resistance, and a better, more durable, foundation for a multi-coat system.9 years agoHelpful?
