Also ensure any loose or flaking rust is removed. The primer we can recommend using is Rust-Oleum Specialty Farm and Implement Red Oxide Metal Primer. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/rust-oleum-specialty-farm-implement-red-oxide-metal-primer-1-gal-1082773 - Rust-Oleum Product Support 104 months agoHelpful?

Great undercoating

I was alittle worried, it wasn’t gonna stick or look good. I put it in a sprayer I had and it dries fast, and looks great! I’ll definitely be buying more.

Super hard paint that looks great!
This paint is great. I used it to repaint a flat bed on an old truck that I bought. The paint was soft for around a week and had me pretty worried, but now it's hard as a rock and looks great. I will be buying more to paint my trailer next.
Definitely recommend, just leave plenty of time to cure.

Covers nicely
I bought this to paint an old horse trailer we bought. It covers nicely and sticks well. It is hard to wash off so wear gloves. Also it can become sticky quickly so keep it covered and keep it moving. It does have a strong odor so have ventilation while using. The color is a beautiful glossy black.
