Q: I see in product details it says that 1 qt covers 130 sq/ft, Then I am reading in the specifications where it says 1 qt covers 520 sq/ft could you verify which one it actually covers I am not a painter but I am fixing to paint my tractor and need to know

Q: Can this be applied directly to previously painted surfaces if they are in good condition (i.e., clean, no rust or scaling or oxidation) without primer? Also, is this oil based and requires mineral spirits for clean up?

- A: PREVIOUSLY COATED: Previously coated surfaces must be sound and in good condition. Smooth, hard, or glossy finishes should be scarified by sanding to create a surface profile. Farm Equipment Enamels are compatible with most coatings, but a test patch is suggested. APPLICATION Apply only when air and surface temperatures are between 50-90°F (10-32°C) and the relative humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. Stir thoroughly before using. Do not thin with gasoline, lacquer thinner or turpentine.5 years agoHelpful?

Rust-Oleum Specialty Farm and Implement Paint can be applied to the underside of a mower deck, but we recommend allowing the paint to fully cure first for 7 to 10 days before use. The paint has been very durable so far. Most importantly, it is an exact color match to my JD imatch hitch. The paint was brushed on, not apply through a gun. It still looked great.

I used this paint on an older tractor I have been restoring. This paint stuck great and covered nicely. Did a little sanding on the parts I painted and it went on great. Spray is strong and even and doesnt run even when put on a little heavy.

This is a great Ford Blue paint! First off, it matched our ford tractor perfectly! We also have a few antique toy tractors we’ve had lying around in desperate need of some love and this paint made them look brand new!

Bought the fit husband who is always fixing up his cars paint due to rusting from being older. He loves how durable it is post application and how quickly it dries. It also doesn’t leave streaks for noticeable differences.
