[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera is configured for wireless communication. Generally provides a consistent live image of the area the camera covers relatively independent of weather. It often incorrectly identifies a person being within the viewing area of the camera even at the lowest motion sensitivity setting. The Lorex application on an IOS managed device does not make management of the devices efficient. The impact is that I'm reluctant to expand my use of Lorex technologies due to the inability to quickly troubleshoot issues. Example: IOS alerts that connection to camera has failed. The most obvious causes would be loss of power and loss of network connection. The Lorex method to diagnose power loss is to go and look at the status indicator light on the camera. A camera mounted 12 or more feet off the ground makes seeing the camera's indicator light tough to do during daylight hours, given the size of the indicator light. Lorex provides no wireless signal strength diagnostic indicator or tools as part of the app. During initial setup there is no method to judge what level of signal strength the camera detects from the wireless broadcast source. Once a camera is up and running my camera appears to lose its connection to the wireless broadcast source. I have no method to diagnose what happened and again for an elevated camera having to press the reset button on the camera makes me hesitate to deploy more cameras.
