Having issues

I’ve been using the unit for the past eight months, primarily at night, and it has performed exceptionally well until recently. I typically set the temperature to 66°F for sleeping, and the unit has always cooled the room efficiently. However, it has recently stopped cooling below 68°F, even when set to a lower temperature. I’ve cleaned the filters thoroughly and attempted to drain any excess water, but the unit continues to display a message instructing me to clean or replace the filters. I’m unsure what the issue might be, as the unit has otherwise been reliable and well-maintained. I would appreciate any troubleshooting advice or further steps I can take to resolve this. Thank you for your assistance.

We appreciate you sharing your experience, and we’re glad your LG Portable Air Conditioner has been keeping you cool, Marc! Since your unit has been running efficiently until now, let's try a few troubleshooting steps to get it back to peak performance. First, double-check the filters—sometimes, even after cleaning, debris might remain, so rinsing them with warm water, letting them fully dry, and reinstalling them may help. Ensuring proper drainage is also important, as excess moisture can limit cooling. Additionally, performing a reset by powering off the unit, unplugging it for a few minutes, and then restarting it might clear the issue. If the problem continues, send us a private message on our social platforms @LGUSSupport so we can provide additional support. We’re here to help! 😊 ^Anthony

Only Lasted One Year

Like many reviews, it worked great it's initial year. Tried to turn it on for the second summer and it wouldn't blow cold. For some reason you can't recharge it so to the trash it goes.. Support gave us a refund but I wish it worked longer..

Lots to be desired

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cheap unit means short life. This is my second one in a year and they seem to only last a few months. They do cool well and offer good styling but don't compare to the older LG models
