We order by the pallet. As far as wood shavings go, these are actually not very dusty. The bag is compressed so they fluff up while the horses are out and 3-4 bags makes a nice bed in a 12x10 stall. Quite absorbent for the wet spots with minimal waste. The shavings smell great, loving the pine smell. Shavings are soft and break down nicely over time, so the older shavings can be used in the wet spots to soak up everything. Very happy!
