The K2 Pumps 1/3 HP sump pump with piggyback tethered float switch will discharge 2400 GPH at 0 feet, with a maximum lift of 31 feet. The pump is constructed of corrosion-resistant thermoplastic. The energy-efficient, oil-filled PSC motor extends the life of the pump.

The pump is designed correctly.., the issue is that the float when it drops down is not small enough to fall all the way down in the bucket without being pinched in a 5 gallon bucket because the 5 gallon bucket narrows at the bottom
