Reviews

CountyLine Precharged Pressure Tank is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from They stand behind their product. Purchased two of the same model (119Gal) and had both fail after a couple of years. It's important to pay attention to the precharge PSI in comparison to what PSI you are going to run. They come precharged with 40psi but I'm running close to 70psi due to my elevation on my place. Instructions say to pressure up the precharge to 2 psi below cut in pressure. The bladder ruptured in both units causing rusty water and erratic pressure fluctuations. Don't know exactly why they failed but TSC replaced both under warranty. I'm in the water business and think it's a good design. We'll see how it goes the second go round. I ade sure I have the precharge pressure right this time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 10 of out 10, do not recommend! 10 of out of 10, don't recommend. I bought this tank because it was a high capacity, budget friendly tank. I've got (3) of them, (1) for R/O water and (2) for city water storage. Within a couple days, one of them blew the bladder and had water coming out the valve stem. It took Tractor Supply 6 weeks to get a replacement into the store for pickup. The _only_ way they could get a replacement in without me having to pay for shipping was to order it on a rain check and wait. Mind you, I bought all (3) tanks in retail stores. Additionally, all (3) tanks have some kind of white powdered non-stick substance inside the bladder and even after 20+ flushes, I still haven't gotten rid of all of it. Do yourself a favor and don't go cheap; find a different tank. I thought this would be a decent option as it's made by Pentair and just has Tractor Supply's "Countyline" name on it. No biscuit!

Questions & Answers

What is the draw down at 60 psi?

Asked by: JKMan
Draw down is based on tank pressure going from a high pressure to a lower pressure. We need two sets of values like 40 to 60 PSI.

What size pressure tank should I get for a 1500 square foot house with 3 full baths on a community artisan spring where the well house is half a mile down the road with its own pump I am the last house on the line water pressure is at 30 Max & drops

Asked by: Syphotoguy
Any tank will not help in the additional pressure to the house without a pump to feed the tank and household. The best is to get a booster pump, something like the 4075SS, from Simer.
