Q: Will it kill growing vines including roots?
10 days ago- AI-generatedA: No, this surfactant cannot kill vines or roots on its own because it does not contain active weed-killing ingredients. It is designed to be mixed with herbicides to help them stick to and penetrate plant surfaces more effectively.5 days agoHelpful?
Q: Does this serve as a replacement for basal oil during basal bark treatment?
10 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! No, this FarmWorks 80/20 Surfactant cannot be used as a replacement for basal oil during a basal bark treatment.9 days agoHelpful?
Q: Is Farmworks 80/20 an organosilicone surfactant?
13 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! This product is a standard, general-purpose non-ionic surfactant rather than a specialized organosilicone "super-spreader." Its alcohol ethoxylate formula works by breaking water tension so your weed killer spreads flat and sticks to waxy leaves instead of rolling off.12 days agoHelpful?
Q: Is this non-ionic
15 days ago- A: Yes11 days agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be used in a pump up sprayer and if so what is the amount to use for 1 gal sprayer
15 days ago- AI-assistedA: Yes, this surfactant can be used in a sprayer. The recommended application rate is 0.5 to 4 pints per 100 gallons of spray solution depending on the specific crop or chemical being paired.12 days agoHelpful?
Q: Can I use this as a soil wetting agent for my lawn?
17 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! While you can technically use FarmWorks 80/20 Surfactant to temporarily break surface tension on hard ground, it is not recommended as a long-term soil wetting agent. This product is formulated as a foliar spray adjuvant designed to stick chemicals to leaves, meaning it breaks down quickly in the dirt and will wash away after your very first watering.16 days agoHelpful?
Q: Does it kill duck weed
20 days ago- AI-generatedA: No, this product will not kill duckweed on its own because it does not contain an insecticide or herbicide. It is a surfactant designed to be mixed with pesticides to improve their wetting and spreading on plant surfaces, helping the actual weed killer stick and work more effectively.19 days agoHelpful?
Q: I am spraying clethodim on my deer plots that now have wheat, oats and rye alomost dying out. I also have clover but I am wamt the clover to prevail will this work to kill all except clover?
24 days ago- AI-generatedA: It depends on the specific herbicide label. While this surfactant can be mixed with Clethodim, using a non-ionic surfactant may reduce its grass-killing effectiveness compared to crop oil. Additionally, chemical interactions vary by weed species and weather, so you must follow the manufacturer labels for all products to avoid damaging your clover or application failure.23 days agoHelpful?
Q: will this kill wisteria roots?
26 days ago- A: Hi neighbor! FarmWorks 80/20 Surfactant cannot kill wisteria roots on its own because it contains no active weed-killing ingredients. Instead, it acts as a helper that breaks down water tension so actual herbicides can stick to the plant.25 days agoHelpful?
Q: Will this kill insects on its own like some dish soaps
a month ago- A: Howdy neighbor! FarmWorks 80/20 Surfactant will not kill insects on its own because it contains no active pest control chemicals and is completely non-ionic, meaning it lacks the harsh ingredients that let dish soaps break down a bug's protective shell. Instead, it works strictly as a helper additive designed to lower water surface tension so that your actual mixed insecticides or weed killers spread out smoothly and stick to surfaces instead of bead up and roll off. To eliminate pests, mix this product with a dedicated insect control concentrate inside your sprayer tank.a month agoHelpful?
