- A: Hi, Here is the information listed in the owner's manual for more specific information please contact Cleveland Iron Works directly using the contact information below. VENT TERMINATION • Install exhaust vent at clearances specified by the vent manufacturer. • Install exhaust vent terminations at clearances specified by the vent manufacturer. • If using the air intake kit, ensure that there is at least 12 inches clearance between the exhaust vent termination and the intake air inlet. • It is recommened to keep at least 12” (30.5 cm) of clearance between any vent termination and windows, doors, or outside corners. • Use silicone to create an effective vapor barrier at the location where the chimney or other component penetrates to the exterior of the structure. • For additional requirements check local codes. Any vertically terminated chimney systems must meet the following minimum requirements: • Must be at least 15 feet (4.6 m) tall, measured from the top of the stove to the tip of the chimney cap. • Must be at least 3 feet above the roof, measured from the highest point of contact with the roof and the tip of the chimney cap. • Must be at least 2 feet (61 cm) above the highest point of the slope of the roof within 10 feet (305 cm) horizontally. Q: Why are the clearance requirements the same for US and Canada and All other pellet stoves have US clearance requirements way less than Canada, this says the front clearance is 18 inches and all others have 6.75 inches for US and Canada is 18 inches?

Sorry I bought it

This stove runs. That is about all I can say about it. It does not put out enough heat to bring the room it is in up above 65 degrees when it is above freezing outside. That is running it at the highest level. It needs constant cleaning, like every other day, because the firepot is inefficient and clogs up easily. Sorry I bought it.

Purchased this unit to help subsidize our heating during the winter months. It is working well. Only drawback is when on high our smoke detecters went off. Hopefully, as the we continue to use the stove we can raise it to high if needed. We currently run it on low/minimal.
