HUGE PIECE OF GARBAGE

This was the largest waste of money! Purchased in June, finally unboxed and hooked up in October. This thing hasn't worked properly since the day we started it. Called TSC to ask for a replacement and was sent to PellPro directly. This is where we were told, "PellPro is a DIY company where you can fix it yourself". That statement in and of itself is a huge red flag! Wouldn't reputable company want to fix their products and not make the consumer trouble shoot? After replacing several parts, and working on it more hours than it actually functioned PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BRAND!!!!!!!

Hello Jenny. We are sorry to hear that you were not informed of the warranty and maintenance of this stove before purchase. Yes, PelPro is designed to be a DIY version of our dealer based products so that you can get the same quality at a lower price point. This is the case with most, if not all pellet and wood stoves sold at Tractor Supply. While we would like this to be disclosed so that we ensure that these stoves are the proper fit for you before purchase, that unfortunately does not always happen. We regret to hear that you had issues initially. It sounds like we were able to assist with troubleshooting and utilize the warranty to get your stove back up into running shape. If you need assistance with anything further, we would love the opportunity to help. Otherwise, we hope you have many warm winters to come with your PelPro stove. HHT

Hello,

Yes, this unit does not have an ash pan, it uses just the firepot. Depending upon how long it is burning and the quality of the pellets, will depend upon how often it is necessary to clean the firepot. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We are happy to hear you are enjoying the cost savings and dependable warmth. HHT
