Can you use a solar panel to charge the battery during operation for continued use?

Asked by: mtaylor79
We do not recommend altering the charger to be used with a solar panel as it will void the warranty. Solar powered options are available for our energizers.

How many watts or amps does this take to work ?

Asked by: Darrel 98
Any 12 volt battery can be used with this charger, and we recommend a deep cycle marine battery. The higher the amp hour rating on the battery, the longer it will tend to last between charges.
