The Gallagher S6 Lithium Solar Fence Energizer is a compact, portable solar-powered charger designed for garden protection, small pet containment, and light-duty perimeter fencing where plug-in power is not available. Delivering 0.06 stored joules, the S6 powers up to 0.74 miles of clean fence under good conditions with proper installation and minimal vegetation contact. Its built-in solar panel, smart digital charge control, and long-lasting lithium battery help provide dependable fence power with less maintenance than traditional battery setups. The unique post-mount ground system allows the unit to mount directly to a suitable unpainted steel rod or bare metal post up to 0.5 inches thick, with the post acting as both the stand and earth connection when installed as directed. It typically features a lead wire measuring approximately 3 feet (about 1 meter) in length, terminating in an alligator clip to easily attach to your fence wire.
