A friend bought one a few years ago and told me I should get one. I waited but shouldn't have. I have a Traeger but found that I was constantly chasing the temperature. Not with the Pit Boss, just set it, let it come to temp, and forget about it. Very consistent for hours and hours. I love my Oklahoma Joe for wood smoking but if you're looking at pellet grills, this is hard to beat, love this thing.

My second PitBoss pellet grill

My first grill was an Austin Xl it has been great! Cooks very well. I have had it a good while but it is time to sell it and get a new one. I got the Pit Boss 1000D3 to see if it is as good as my other one. So far it started right up and cooked very well. I am happy. Very impressed with Pit Boss pellet grills.
