Power your permanent or semi-permanent fencing with the Power Wizard 0.30 Joule Plug-In Electric Fence Energizer. The fence controller can energize up to 30 acres or 10 miles of fencing to fully encompass your area. The low impedance technology helps the fence energizer provide consistent power in any conditions. This energizer comes with heavy-duty wire knobs with metal inserts that prevent stripping.

- A: It will, but we recommend using a smaller one that isn’t as strong like a PW200. The PW300 is putting out like 6000 volts were the PW200 is putting out 3000 volts it would be better for the dog, unless they are fencing in a big area.5 years agoHelpful?

Works for larger dog with long, dense hair

So far, so good. We bought it to hot wire 2 acres for fairly large dog (about 70 lbs.) with long hair who is now a reformed escape artist. Not sure if .2 would have been sufficient given his extremely long, dense coat. He can actually rub just his fur against the wire and not feel anything, but if he bumps his face or catches it closer to the skin it works. Definitely made him leave the area, but doesn't seem excessive, or I would not use it. Would not use for smaller animals.
